Facial Skin Care, ed. 1

Nothing feels as pampering after a long day as a massage, a mani, and a pedi at a salon~

But let's face it (pun intended), if your dinero and your time are at the low like mine, we can just save all those, plus gas (at nearly 5 bucks a gallon! O.o), with a nice and healthy home regimen.  You'll feel almost as refreshed as a 100 bucks spa treatment.  Emphasis on almost!  :D

Enough with my joking around.  Here are a few products I like to treat my face with every night.   

Left to right: Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cleanser (once a week), Skin Food Tomato Whitening Toner, The Face Shop Arsainte Eco Therapy Moisturizer, Leaders Cell Energy serum, Skin Food Tomato Whitening Emulsion, The Face Shop Nature's Holiday foam cleanser.

When I use this complete skin care regimen in the evening, my face looks so bright and smooth and feels so supple in the morning! ^____^  

Sometimes, when I have more time, I wear facial mask from Sexy Look and My Beauty Diary.

Sometimes, when I am too tired, I let my face just rest from all the products except for a nice cleaning with the foam cleanser.

Sometimes, when I am too tired and lazy, I just clean up with Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes.

Blue Ain't so Blue

Wanted some happy nail color, and although most people would not consider blue a happy color, with a bit of sparkle, it may be enough to put a smile on this girl's face :)

The Faceshop, O.P.I, and Revlon

Began with OPI Nail Laquer in Ogre-the-Top Blue,
The Faceshop Face it in SL211 painted half way from the tip,
and topped with Revlon's Extra Life No Chip Top Coat.

Super easy so you'll have more time for other happy things :)  Another plus, this manicure stayed for over 1 week!  And that would certainly put anyone in a good mood~

Nail Polish Review: Revlon Scented Parfume in Gumdrop

Two of my greatest interests in beauty are nail color and nail art.  I am currently wearing a very nice purple color from Essie, in Sexy Divide, and I am loving it!  I hope to write a review soon.  Perhaps, tonight? ;)
I do my own manicure and pedicure because I don't want to spend too much money and I like to change my nail color often, once a week at least.  The image below is a sample of the work I've done.

This review is on Revlon Scented Parfume in Gumdrop.  I really like lilac, so here's my take on the product:
Color
5/5  It's lilac!  And this shade is actually pleasant.  It makes my nails look dainty and fun! :)
Formula
4/5  Revlon's formula is pretty thin in comparison with Essie and The Faceshop.  I like my formula thicker so there would be fewer layering of colors and thus, a quicker drying time.  However, I really like this scented series because the formula makes my nails smell so sweet, like candies and fruits! ^-^
Brush
2/5  The brush is super important!  And I think Revlon did not really consider this.  :(  I have to give them this score because their brush is so skinny.  If you've tried O.P.I., there is a huge difference with the brush width.  Revlon's skinny brushes do not hold as much paint, making the application more limited and more difficult.  :(
Overall
3/5  The paint is really decent, but the brush kills it for me.  Let's hope that Revlon will take a look at their brushes and improve on the design.

The pink nail color is from The Faceshop (their nail polishes
are of wonderful quality and really inexpensive). 

P.S.  Had to buy Essie in Lilacism because I spilled my Gumdrop all over the carpet.  T___T  Boohoo!  Had to clean it up hard, but at least my fingers were smelling like candy!
