The Long Wait is Over! ^0^

SHOUT!

Last week, my bumcheeks are officially sewn together! XD  It's graphic, I know!  Pardon me but I don't know any other way to express myself...  (-.-)  Should I say, "ecstatic with glee"?  "Too happy for words"?  "Smiling from ear to ear"?

Nope, nope, NOPE!  Much too mild!  Sewn bumcheeks it izzzzz!!  ^0^

My camera came in the mail last Friday!  SHOUT!

I'm currently still testing it because it was "scratch and dent."  It was the model that I really wanted and was the last one in the store.  The customer service said that the scratch was cosmetic.  So, I just made a grab for it >.<  You know that old saying, "Desperate times call for desperate measures"?  Anyway, so far, it's functioning quite well and that scratch was really faded...  They said that I have 2 months to test it out.  I am crossing my fingers that there is really nothing wrong with it.

I will give you the honor of seeing some pics of it which are not taken by me :)  Hehehe!

Panasonic Lumix GMC G3
(My lens isn't this awesome, by the way.)

Oh, what's that? O.o A flippy screen!

Oh, rest well!  Rest well, dear Samsung camera!  I will use you when I need lightweight, extra-portable photography.

Real Life Sundays, ed. 5

I noticed that I didn't get to post one last week.

It's alright, yah?  Every Sunday is church, family time, then when evening comes I blog about it.  Nothing so exciting to post last time...  Thank you for keeping up with my rather normal life ^^;;
But this time is a little different because:

I straightened my hair!  :D  I don't really
like straightening my hair.  It takes so
much time!  I can't be high-
maintenance with everything!

After a loooooong time, I drew!  My sister said that she looks like a
cartoon when I was aiming for something a little more realistic.  -__-
But what can I do?  Tsubasa does look like a cartoon.

Concept for next week's review with Dolly
Wink in #10 Sweet Cat and #13 Baby Girl.
So, please, be watching out for that ^0^

Also, what's a little different this week is........ my new camera will be here!  I am so excited!  \(^0^)/  You know how long I've tried to be patient. T___T  So, next week will be my review of my other Dolly Wink eyelashes.  I think this will be a fitting task for my camera!

Until we meet again, dears!  Have a great week! ^_________^

First Work Week From Christmas Break

It's been a good week!  Even at work!  Yes, I said that already but it's elating because I loooooove, with a cherry on top, vacation, and I just can't be thankful enough that I really enjoyed work right after my precious break.^-^
Here are some of the things I've been doing during the week:

Gen-gen, my tabby, is crazy about her teddy bunny.  It's so cute how she's
trying to drag it in her playpen (shoebox).

Treated myself to some nom-noms~

Hello Kitty for my car.
I had a hard time scouring the island for HK!
Stores are still trying to restock.  I found her finally
at Macy's, and the price was right.  Seriously, some
stores totally hike-up on this darling.

One of my beautiful 언니 gave me these
nailpolishes!  Yay!  Prowide brush!
Some swatches.  I'm painting my nails in the morning.

She gave this, too.  Smells so yum^o^
 >.< Ooo!  I really want a new camera soon!  But patience is a virtue, yah?  I promised myself that I would spend my $$$ on Gen-Gen and her sister first.  They don't have their mommy and they were born in the jungles, but Gen-Gen found her way into our hearts. ♥ Her sister needs a little more time convincing, though.  But I hope she gets convinced soon!  They need to gets the rest of their shots, and to get spayed so they don't have to be thinking about having any babies... ever.  Hence, I have to submit to buying that Panasonic with Leica lens for my birthday instead T^T  And that is a little far.  A new model would have come out by then... wait! which may be a good thing :)
My father also said that he'll build me a white box and buy me new lamps so I can take better photos.  I am a total newbie about photography, and my parents have been incredible supportive.  My parents are the sweetest! ^3^ ~♥
Anyway, I am really ready to conk out!  So, good night for now!  Until next time!

Geo Tricolor Blue Review

Good evening, everyone!
Before I get back on the grind of working on lesson plans and correcting test papers, I would like to do at least one more post. ^_^
This will be my very first circle lens review (Yay~) and this pair I bought from Shoppingholics.com.  If you're into Asian cosmetics and circle lenses, then this shop is really worth checking out.  Shipment and service are great, too!  I try to give them as many reviews as I can to give credit where credit is due. ☺

Geo Tricolor Blue Review
First, the packaging from Shoppingholics is really nice.  I have no photo here but surely you'll find them in other blogs.
Color
2/5  They show up fine with my dark brown eyes.  They're neither very bright nor obvious with the first glance but with proper lighting, they can be a bit more noticeable.
Design
5/5  Don't be afraid of the the pixelated design on the ad photo because they really look natural against the eyes in person.
Enlargement
2/5  These pair will not enlarge the eyes much, but I am more for the natural look so that's fine with me.
Comfort
5/5  Highly comfortable!  I am a bit naughty and wear them for quite a long time (which I do not recommend, whatsoever) but my eyes hardly dry out.
Overall
5/5 For everything that these lenses offer.  I've found them more of a pro because of the comfort.  I think they look really pretty, too. ^_^
Free rose cases~  너무예뻐~ ^_^

These days my eyes are often tired, and thus the redness :(
My doctor said to keep off contacts at least once a week
(and I blame the length I use contacts a day), even with my Acuvues.

All taken with natural light.  How hard to see the color!  :(
Lastly, (sorry for my gabbiness), I'm planning to buy a new camera in a couple of months.  My point-and-shoot (Samsung) has been a great tool and we have formed a bond, but I need to move on (sorry, dear T_T).  Do you have any recommendations? Talk to me below.   Thanks!
