Real Life Sundays, ed. 31

I have to git going soon because I have to paint my classroom tomorrow in preparation of the new school year.  Say what???  Yes, apparently, painting our classrooms is part of our job description as a teacher.

Haha!

Just joking.  Only if we want our bleak-looking rooms to look all purrty.

Yep!  And it's almost 2 am here.  D:

Been having fun cooking so I could take cute photos and add some digital stamps to show-off on Facebook. ^.^

My lovely and smart doggy-woggy Kobe ^3^  She likes to husks coconuts for fun.
Don't worry, although she's tied in this photo she gets plenty of exercise because we play together or we
release her to play by herself.

Then my little sister and I had a little photo-op, showing off our new hairdos and clothes ^___^
Sisters are the bomb, aren't they?
Dress: Street market (Namdaemoon, Korea)
Shoes: Nine West
Dress: Forever 21 (Philippines)
Shoes: Nine West
Being all chiyo with our hair
Unabashed selcas at Ross

One more post after this because I just have to!

PS
Thank you, Ate Lerma♥  I've forgotten the access to my old email but I heard that you read my blog.  Thank you so much for your eager love.  I miss you immensely.  I want to see you soon.  I will... :)

As Yellow As Minions

My little sister said that every toy store that she's gone to were out of stock with their Minion (from Despicable Me 2) paraphernalia.  Aww shucks...

But guess what?  I have Minion complexion on my clothing!  Specifically my shorts.  And I am in love with them!  Bright colored shorts are definitely summertime staple.  ^_^

Pastel Coordinates
Pastel sweater from Esprit, yellow shorts from Esprit, mint green studded flats from Nine West, and colorful stack bracelet from Forever 21.
I love this shimmery pastel sweater from Esprit.  It would be great for Guam's cooler weather-
which is not until the next five months  ^^;;

Vivid Coordinates
Royal blue top from Everblue, yellow shorts from Esprit, black studded flats from Nine West, and faux sapphire earrings from Le Fleur
I think I should have fixed my inside shirt XD  Anyway what I love about this blouse-
and is very unlikely of me- are the golden skull buttons.  I didn't know until after
the purchase but I warmed up to them.

Real Life Sunday, ed. 19

Happy Anniversary to my church!♥♥♥

Yay!  Performances!  Food!  Dancin'!  Parteh!  Adult prom!  The gents, and most certainly, the ladies got really dressed up.  ^-^  For the first time in a long time, I actually felt underdressed!  Wuh-hat???  Can you believe???  Well, you better believe it!

My A-line dress.  My friend, who is a guy, actually helped
me go shopping for this.  Friends like him are the bomb!
Make-up of the Night: drama on the eyes and played down
the lips.
This angel was my hair inspo.  Isn't she simply lovely?! ^0^
Whee! for the last performance of the night.  They did a swell job!
And it didn't hurt that my older sister played the cajon. ^.^
Dance!  Dance!  Dance!
I didn't :(  because I'm lame like that...

Going a bit random on the photo timeline here.  Bear with me, ok?

Lunch at Tony Roma's because someone (the girl on the left) won us
gift certificates!  Whoo!
I did mention that I love retro red lips!  Yes!  Sporting MAC
lipstick in Russian Red!
Have I ever mentioned that I was a BIG nerd before college?  Then one day, I picked up the paint brush and switched it for a make-up brush.  And voila!  But of course, nerd will always be a part of me.  ^-^
Shhhh....  I cheated here and made my eyes big!  0.0
Coming clean here, folks!  But makes for such a better picture :D
Happy Things!
Raspberry Kit-Kat, anyone?  Verily, verily!  ^-^
You know that you're obsessed when you have two shoebox-ful of nail polishes.
I actually never knew I had this many until I organized them...  I SO had to
stop buying!   :/

I had a terrific week!  (Thank God!)  Even work began to feel better, smell sweeter.  *sigh*  I'm happy and content, and yep!  Even with my nail polish collection.

The church anniversary was also very nice.  It was a new experience for me.  I didn't attend my prom in high school at all, so it was nice to experience something like it.  Hahaha!  But I also found that I feel loneliest in crowded rooms.  Some people thrive in parties, while others, including myself, hide in parties.  It's all preference, really^-^

But I also found that simple dinners and meaningful conversations make my heart smile.  I just came from one tonight.  And my heart smiled.  And it didn't hurt, didn't hurt at all that---.

Well, that's it for tonight!
Good night!
And have a blast for the rest of the week!

Rainy Days and Clothes

We could afford to be silly, so my sister and I decided to hold a little fashion photo op.  Nothing fancy, but definitely warm/rainy weather wear and still cute.

...Well, at least to me!  :P

Blouse from Landmark Department Store (Philippines).

So, yeah, I am slouching.  But my shoes are cute.

What I like about this graphic tee is the red color
selection against the black and white.  Shirt from
Everblue, Skinny Jeans from Landmark Department
Store (Philippines), and Shoes from Nine West.

☀Summer Outfit☀

It's positively SUMMER!

And the Guam heat has been quite oppressive.  And although I don't often wear shorts, it's become a need.  Here's my fashion idea for these coming summery days! ^^

Shirt and shorts from Esprit de Corps.  Moccasins
from Nine West.
Tip: You don't have to pay a pretty penny for
brand names.  Chance up on a sale!  Oftentimes,
I'd rather own brand name clothes because the fabric
and stitching are better and more durable.

Necklace from Macy's on sale for less than $10!

Easy nail design to match my outfit!  I'll have a quick tutorial
for you guys one of these days.

Spring/Summer Fashion

^0^ H i   e v e r y o n e!

Sometimes, I feel absolutely silly saying that I have anything affiliated with the four seasons.  You know, Guam has only two: rainy and dry.  Then, there isn't much of a difference in the fashion between the two, except you can wear sweaters in the rainy season because the dry season is becoming smoldering hot, especially within these recent years.  Global warming is REAL, yo! O.o

But, in saying all that---  a girl can dream, no?  I would really want to see spring and fall again someday :)  But I can live without winter...  I'm quite sure of that!

Maxi dresses are so summery ^___^  If you want to
appear instantly elongated and taller, an empire
waist maxi is the way to go.

My summer staple: hats and braids.  The white batwings blouse is
reminiscent of spring because of the delicate floral details.

Floral details

Yup!  That is all.  :)  I hope this inspires you for the warm days to come.
