Real Life Sundays, ed. 15

Another installment of my photo diary.  It's been around three weeks since the last one.  There had been a bunch of colorful going-ons since... IF (notice the emphasis) you actually think my life is interesting enough.  XD

Of course, certainly, my life may seem as dull as dishwater, and I may just be oblivious to it.  But it's all about the attitude, baby!  Attitude!  Carpe diem is all about that!  But just don't do anything you'll be too embarrassed to tell your future husband and/or children.  :D  Hahaha!

Finally got the guts to purchase this cool photo app!  It allows more light to
your photos.  Notice that the left is with the app and the right is without the app.

Haagen Dazs' take on tea and cakes.  Fancy!

And my nails just matched the pastel of the ice cream ^.^

Guam has a vast and beautiful sky.
Prayer Walk at my friend's church.  The church property overlooks
the ocean.  Simply breathtaking!  I couldn't walk while praying,
so we sat and prayed.  ^___^

At the cross is where my life began.

Lesson on goal setting: my student is definitely getting his priorities straight :D
Oh! And they call this work???

And they call this work... -__- Paperwork is only fun sometimes...

The closest I can get to Tim Tebow: lil' Timmy.

"Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree, and instead
of briers the myrtle will grow.  This will be for the Lord's renown, for
an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed." Isaiah 55:13

My dearest Syuzi, I've loved you even before I met you...
My next goal is to see you. The very thought makes me very happy.  ^___^

So, was that dull enough for you?

NO WAY!  Since my photos are so fine and beautifully edited!  :P

Hahaha!

*Laughs by herself*
*Awkward silence and crickets*

Ahem... alright!  It's been great, everyone.  Stay tuned for the next post!  ^____^  I hope you have a great hump-day Wednesday.

Real Life Sundays, ed. 14

If you asked me what I have been up to, I'll say I've been up to a bunch of things.

I thank God that He has made every day memorable.  Every day of this week has been embedded into my memory.  It's been so sweet and beautiful.  *Sigh*  I'm so happy...  ^_______^

I finished decorating my classroom today and it's ready for them kiddies :)

Hi beautiful sister ^___^

Great Daiso find!  I miss Daiso and Tokyo...

Hehehe... No batteries yet... I always forget ^^;;

After my decorating spree, I had a little shopping spree to congratulate my hard work and celebrate the good things of life ^_____^

Spend $35 and get lotsa freebies from Lancome at Macy's, which was so
opportune because I needed a purple eyeshadow palette ^___^

My new skin care routine ^_^  Including the Genefique eye cream.

Dear Readers,
Some of you may have been missing the devotionals that I like to write and has in place been showing you a bunch of superficial things.  I miss writing those devotionals, too, but have been waiting long for proper inspiration and the words to put it all together.
But, let me tell you, I think what is so beautiful about my life in Christ is that I don't only get to think about and write inspirational thoughts but I get to live it!  This summer has been so life-changing for me, and believe it or not, I'm experiencing who God is in ways that I've only used to yearn for and His goodness, faithfulness, grace, and love are becoming so real and tangible in my life that all I can be is to be in awestruck thanksgiving to Him.  It is true... so true... that the God who is involved with the workings of the universe and of this world, is the God who is also so involved at a personal level in our lives.
Because of His love, I can experience the juxtaposition of beauty inside and out!  He makes plans unfold, hearts renewed, and dreams come true!
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7

Real Life Sundays, ed. 6

Hi, you guys!  ^_^

Sorry that I've been out for a while, and I think you'd know why if you check out the other posts below.  Thanks for staying tuned, though!  Your support really encourages me to write on!

These photos aren't really from only one Sunday ^^;;  but an accumulation of what's been up for the past weeks.  Just sharing... ^^✌

Beautiful teacups and a teapot from England.  I see these every Friday
night during Bible study ^____^

Sometimes, I just like pointing my camera out into the dark streets
(my sister was driving), and it's really interesting what comes out of it.
Lights speeding by look quite nostalgic...

My take on spring on my class bulletin board.  I so love cherry
blossoms ❀❀❀

Teacher on break :P

Do you know Beard Papa's?  Seriously, if I could have my birthday cake
made out of these things, I would be so happy! ^0^

Happy feet~

Every girl needs nice black pumps.  They look
great with almost everything!

Nail art for the week: pink and black...  Ah!  Cherry blossoms yet again!

Talk to you later! ^_____^  Good night!

It's Easter Break... and I'm Back!

IT'S MY EASTER BREAK, Y'ALL!

There is no job as gratifying as teaching (unless, you know, if I could be a full-time blogger :D).  (Btw, you can stop that music now).  I feel absolutely blessed that I love my job.  Every day is different.  Every class is different.  Every student is different.  I would not know what I'd do if I were sitting in a cubicle, all alone, in front of a computer, doing the same thing over and over and over again and again and again.  T__T  That is still a job, and it is ideal for some, but not for my ADD self.

*Zoning out*

Anyway, my students and I have fought long and hard to get through the month of March, and if you've noticed- which I hope you have ;)- I've been MIA for nearly a couple of weeks now because I've been doing a lot of cleaning up before the break.

So there you have it!  I am back on the blogging scene!  ONE week, yo!  No work for one week!  :D :D :D

Lahf is good~

First Work Week From Christmas Break

It's been a good week!  Even at work!  Yes, I said that already but it's elating because I loooooove, with a cherry on top, vacation, and I just can't be thankful enough that I really enjoyed work right after my precious break.^-^
Here are some of the things I've been doing during the week:

Gen-gen, my tabby, is crazy about her teddy bunny.  It's so cute how she's
trying to drag it in her playpen (shoebox).

Treated myself to some nom-noms~

Hello Kitty for my car.
I had a hard time scouring the island for HK!
Stores are still trying to restock.  I found her finally
at Macy's, and the price was right.  Seriously, some
stores totally hike-up on this darling.

One of my beautiful 언니 gave me these
nailpolishes!  Yay!  Prowide brush!
Some swatches.  I'm painting my nails in the morning.

She gave this, too.  Smells so yum^o^
 >.< Ooo!  I really want a new camera soon!  But patience is a virtue, yah?  I promised myself that I would spend my $$$ on Gen-Gen and her sister first.  They don't have their mommy and they were born in the jungles, but Gen-Gen found her way into our hearts. ♥ Her sister needs a little more time convincing, though.  But I hope she gets convinced soon!  They need to gets the rest of their shots, and to get spayed so they don't have to be thinking about having any babies... ever.  Hence, I have to submit to buying that Panasonic with Leica lens for my birthday instead T^T  And that is a little far.  A new model would have come out by then... wait! which may be a good thing :)
My father also said that he'll build me a white box and buy me new lamps so I can take better photos.  I am a total newbie about photography, and my parents have been incredible supportive.  My parents are the sweetest! ^3^ ~♥
Anyway, I am really ready to conk out!  So, good night for now!  Until next time!
