Geo Tricolor Gray Review

I am not paid to write this but FYI, LoveShoppingholics (formerly known as Shoppingholics) is having a Christmas promo.  I hope to chance up on their "Buy 2, Get 1 Pair of Free Circle Lens."  It'd be the perfect time to check them out.

I bought the lenses for this review from the aforementioned company.

♥♥♥

I've previously written a review on this series from Geo.  (Before the pomp and glory of my hybrid camera--- which I want to replace with a real DSLR someday, not so soon though).  You can check out my review here.  <---There, ok?

Geo Tricolor Gray Review

Usage Modality: Yearly
Base Curve: 8.6 mm
Diameter: 14.0 mm
Water Content: 38%

Color
2/5 The color of this series is not vibrant.  It has to be in the proper lighting in order to show more.

Design
3/5 This category is purely subjective.  I am not particularly keen on the pixelated design- which is not obvious from afar.  But up close?  Perhaps only if the person is being confrontational and being all up in your face, or kissing you.  Hehehe...

Enlargement
2/5 At 14.0 mm diameter and the absence of a bolder limbal ring, these lenses are not for enlargement.

Comfort
5/5 I don't know whether it is simply because my eyeballs are perhaps made of steel or I am just lucky, but I have been so comfortable with many circle lenses recently, especially with Geo.  And the same story goes for these lenses.  However, my eyes tend to become dry and redden more these days, but they're not in pain.

Overall
4/5 I am being subjective with this category, too.  I am not so picky with these lenses.  I like how they do not enlarge my eyes so much.  I use these as my everyday lenses because I feel like they won't freak people out as compared to ones with 15.0 mm.  And oh!  They ARE comfortable.  ^__^

These are the lenses I used for the Angelina Jolie look.
This is me looking like a yawning hippo because
I was getting tired and bored of photoshoots.  ^0^

Real Life Sunday, ed. 9

Today may just be the most lethargic day of my summer...  It's so warm outside and while it makes other people energetic enough to head to the beach, it only makes me groggier and I refuse to move around in this heat!  It will only make me feel hotter... Cat nap!

I wanted to post some photos before I conk out.  It's not exactly Sunday now but some cool things had happened during the past week.

Yesterday, I went to watch MIB3.  I liked it because of the humor and the heart at the end of the movie. (I won't give it away!)  But, I was trying to remember whether it had any cohesiveness with the previous two.  Oh, well!  It's good fun. ^_^

A couple of days ago my little sister and I had lunch with a couple of friends from church.  They are sisters, too- really sweet, really smart, and pretty adventurous.  Hehehe!

Anyway, here are the photos. ^___^

Yogurtland with friends~  Nyami!  :9

After lunch and desserts, my sister and I went shopping.  I got some sheets and pillows at Ross, made me feel a little more grown-up.  Bed sheets are what adults buy, right?  Haha!  :D  Then we headed to Duty Free so I could get myself a present ^-^  It's almost my birthday!  Yay!
My Alice in Wonderland bag is just darling ^_^  I got
it from Disneyland.  Oh look~ Duffy is tagging
along, too! ⊂( ̄(エ) ̄)⊃

Salvatore Ferragamo's Incanto Charms
I like the youthful fruity scent.  I'm not a perfume connoisseur but I do
know what I like, which are fruity and youthful scents.  Heavy floral
scents make me feel a bit nauseous.

Anna Sui Flight of Fancy
It's one of my favorite scents.  As you can see, it's empty ^^;;
Just kept the pretty bottle and box.

Lastly, I finally got a hair cut and touch-up on my roots.  I think Maria from Salon Fusion did a splendid job. ^____^  Thank you!
No more Taylor Swift curls.  I got bangs, too!
And Maria layered my hair to help shape my square jaw.

Look of the Day:
Face: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream
Bright Fit in W13 Natural Beige, MAC Studio Fix in
NC 30, MAC Tres Cheek blush in Petal Peony, Etude
House
Sweet Eye Cupcake (used the pink shade as
a highlighter).
Eyes: Cezanne Four Color Lame Eyeshadow in 01
Brown
, Lancome Le Crayon Kohl pencil eyeliner in
Ebony Black, Etude House Proof 10 in Proof Black,
Koji Spring Heart false eyelashes in 06 Elegant Long
(very natural lashes- a great find!), Sguard Rock On
Mascara~ Black, Geo Princess Mimi in Apple Green
(Super comfortable lenses and really dolly kawaii).
Lips: MAC Lipglass in Pink Poodle.

That's all!  I don't think I want to write a review for Geo Princess Mimi.  There are so many out there! ^_^  But what I can say is that these are very comfortable lenses and they are one of the staples of gyaru look.

Don't forget to join my giveaway!

Geo Angel Violet Review

These were my first contact lenses along with Geo Honey Wing from Honeycolor.  Actually, the store is having a 10% discount promo right now, so CHECK 'EM OUT!

Anyway, despite my slightly blah feeling today because I am really sleepy and it's so warm, I've been really eager to write this because I promised long ago! ^0^

This should be a well-known edition of Geo circle lenses; I believe it is also pretty old so there should be a lot of reviews out there.  But here we are :)

Geo Angel Violet Review
Color
3/5  The color is not vibrant.  Actually, I think it is a very dark violet, but whenever there is enough lighting, the color will show up.
Design
5/5  I like this design! ^_^  The black limbal ring transforms the eyes and makes them larger and more dolly.  It's not the most natural, though.
Enlargement
3/5  14.0 diameter with dark limbal ring.  There is a larger version of Angels, and certainly that would give you more enlargement.  But this one can still make the eyes slightly bigger- bigger than Geo Wings.  Click  HERE to read my enlargement system. :)
Comfort
2/5  I really tried to like this... I did.  But it was just UNcomfortable, which was curious since Geos are usually comfortable for me.  Most days, my Angel Violet pair was tolerable but that shouldn't be the case.  They should be always comfortable, I believe.

I used these lenses for a couple of months, then eventually they became more and more bothersome.  I shouldn't have used them for that long because they may have been a defective pair because one of them eventually tore although I was gentle with them.  I didn't know better...
Overall
2/5  Comfort is my priority!  But it may have been just this pair because Honeycolor is a trustworthy store and Geo has been a good and comfortable brand for me.

So innocent-looking in their cases!

Choo~

REMINDER
**Whenever you put something in your eyes, if it's uncomfortable, DO NOT FORCE IT!  Beauty should only come second to comfort, especially when it comes to your eyes!**

Test Shots and Products for Future Reviews

Testing, testing, 1-2-3.

The camera makes a difference in how well the photo turns up!  Thanks to my Ate for letting me borrow her camera! ^^

I'm kind of hard on myself when it comes to doing things :(  (I should cut myself slack more...)  But I am quite happy because the following photos are much better than my point-and-shoot.

Here are a few photos of things I want to review someday soon~ :)

My most favorite eyeliners~

You may know this by now: Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in
Deep Black

What a pretty little box courtesy of Shoppingholics

Amazing serum~

Please be looking forward for these coming product reviews!  Good night! :)

Geo Honey Wing Review

A trip down memory lane:
A long, long time ago, when I first had only an inkling about circle lenses, I ended up at Honeycolor.com and was mesmerized at their wide selection!  It took a bit of a deep and eager deliberation before I chose my first pairs.  Somehow, I really liked Geo Honey Wing and ordered that along with Geo Angel Violet (will be another review).  I was really appreciative to Honeycolor for their service especially that they ship to Guam at a sensible price, which is always a plus for me!

**Heh!  I tried to make it sound pretty dramatic.  But that was kind of like the experience :P

Geo Honey Wing Review

Color
4/5  The color is really not the easiest to see but that's quite alright.  Sometimes, I DO wish it would be a tad bit more obvious :/
Design
4/5  When I first fell in love♥ with these, I thought that the design was very pretty.  I like the design still and I think it looks nice in person.  However, it may not photograph as well because sometimes it looks a bit... how can I put it?... Reptile-looking.  ~----->~
Enlargement
3/5  :)  This really brings me back since I've tried larger lenses :D  I used to think that these were BIG! ^0^  Now, as a more mature circle lens consumer, I understand that these deserve only a 3, which is good for me!  I opt for more natural sizes, anyway.  Also, the broken line pattern on the limbal ring makes the enlargement even more subtle.
Comfort
4/5  They felt pretty comfortable the very first time I've tried them.  They can be a bit drying though, and there were good days and bad days.  There were times I wouldn't feel them in my eyes, and then there were others when they felt dry and scratchy. D;
Overall
4/5 Sentiments aside for being my first lenses, these lenses are still a good choice ^^d  Points off for comfort and those other things, but not enlargement for me.  If that's important to you, then it's something to think about more :)

Taken last year while slightly considering blogging :D

2nd pair but they're still unopened...
Too cute packaging from Shoppingholics!!  :3

♥♥♥
Did a test run in my box with my not-too-souped-up point-and-shoot.  I think it's alright for the first try ;) Still learning lighting and other camera settings.   I'll get better, yah?  Yah!!!  \(^0^)/

Happy New Year & Geo Mimi Cafe Macchiato Brown Review

Happy New Year!  It's 2012!  It has to be a good year, yah?

I pray to reignite my passions for this year because I was pretty spent 2011.  Let's just say it's been a combination of so many good things, and... er... challenging things.  Heartbeats and heartaches, and all of that.  : /
Let's make the best of 2012, alright?  Because God is good!  Fighting!  \(^0^)/

♥♥♥
...Moving on!  This is another circle lens review with another pair I bought from Shoppingholics.com.  I've talked about them before, and they are a great store.  Another store I buy lenses from is Honeycolor.com.  Service is fantastic but although the products are a bit cheaper, you'd have to reach $100 for free shipping. Whereas, Shoppingholics is only $50, which actually makes your entire purchase less expensive. ✌

Geo Mimi Cafe Macchiato Brown Review
Color
3/5  The limbal ring is brown rather than black so it blends more naturally with the irises.  It's a nice brown, especially against a white background.  But you see, my irises aren't white... :(  They are dark brown so the lens color doesn't really show.
Design
4/5 So swirly and so pretty but aren't as obvious against my dark eyes.
Enlargement
5/5  They are HUGE!  I personally am not used to this size 15.0, but I understand that there are many who prefer this.  I like mine more natural though.
Comfort
4/5  These lenses are really thin and a bit comfortable.  I've read another review about it though, so it isn't only me, but these lenses would dry out my eyes even only after a short while of wearing.
Overall
3/5  Pretty contact lenses.  I like them enough, but they are certainly not my everyday lenses, for the reason that they'd need to be framed with more make-up.

Free animal cases!  Super! ^0^

Swirly pattern and red eyes strike again...

Another review that you may want to see is Miss Eki's at http://www.ekiblog.com/2011/09/geo-mimi-circle-lens-series-review.html#more.  She's beautiful, and she takes amazing photos.  :)

Geo Tricolor Blue Review

Good evening, everyone!
Before I get back on the grind of working on lesson plans and correcting test papers, I would like to do at least one more post. ^_^
This will be my very first circle lens review (Yay~) and this pair I bought from Shoppingholics.com.  If you're into Asian cosmetics and circle lenses, then this shop is really worth checking out.  Shipment and service are great, too!  I try to give them as many reviews as I can to give credit where credit is due. ☺

Geo Tricolor Blue Review
First, the packaging from Shoppingholics is really nice.  I have no photo here but surely you'll find them in other blogs.
Color
2/5  They show up fine with my dark brown eyes.  They're neither very bright nor obvious with the first glance but with proper lighting, they can be a bit more noticeable.
Design
5/5  Don't be afraid of the the pixelated design on the ad photo because they really look natural against the eyes in person.
Enlargement
2/5  These pair will not enlarge the eyes much, but I am more for the natural look so that's fine with me.
Comfort
5/5  Highly comfortable!  I am a bit naughty and wear them for quite a long time (which I do not recommend, whatsoever) but my eyes hardly dry out.
Overall
5/5 For everything that these lenses offer.  I've found them more of a pro because of the comfort.  I think they look really pretty, too. ^_^
Free rose cases~  너무예뻐~ ^_^

These days my eyes are often tired, and thus the redness :(
My doctor said to keep off contacts at least once a week
(and I blame the length I use contacts a day), even with my Acuvues.

All taken with natural light.  How hard to see the color!  :(
Lastly, (sorry for my gabbiness), I'm planning to buy a new camera in a couple of months.  My point-and-shoot (Samsung) has been a great tool and we have formed a bond, but I need to move on (sorry, dear T_T).  Do you have any recommendations? Talk to me below.   Thanks!
